No-money-down PPA
Lower your electric bill without buying panels.
We model your roof, utility rate, and bill before you sign. If the locked PPA rate does not make sense, we will say so.
02 / the quote
Know if solar is worth it before anyone sells you.
Send your address and electric bill. We model the roof, price the no-money-down PPA first, and tell you whether the locked rate is strong enough to move forward.
First, we model the roof.
We look at shade, roof direction, utility rates, and your average bill. Then we show the expected savings before you spend a dollar.
Then we pressure-test the PPA.
The no-money-down PPA is our main path because it keeps upfront cost at zero and puts maintenance on Xtact. We still compare cash and loan so you can see why the PPA is usually the cleaner fit. See the PPA breakdown.

Start with the bill. Add control when it makes sense.
You do not need to buy everything at once. We model solar first because it usually creates the savings. Then we show what a battery or EV charger would change, so every next step has a reason.

Solar panels
We size the system around your usage, roof, and utility rate. The proposal shows expected production and year-one bill reduction before you sign.
Median year-one savings: 34%View solar options
Battery storage
Add backup when the savings case supports it. We show what the battery changes, what it backs up, and how it affects the PPA.
Typical backup target: up to 72 hoursSee battery options
EV charging
If you drive electric now or plan to soon, we price the home charger with the same roof model so the whole plan stays connected.
Typical solar-powered driving: about 3 cents per mileExplore EV chargingThe number we are trying to prove
Will this roof lower this bill?
The proposal is built to answer that before the sales pitch gets loud. If the roof, utility rate, or PPA number does not work, the answer should be obvious before you sign.
Get my roof numberCan this roof actually carry the savings?
We check shade, usable roof planes, production, and utility rules before recommending anything.
Does the locked PPA rate beat the utility path?
You see the expected first-year bill drop and the comparison before anyone asks you to sign.
Should battery or EV charging be included now?
If backup or home charging does not improve the case, we show it as a later move instead.
04 / why xtact
Why homeowners choose Xtact.
Homeowners come to us for a clear PPA quote, not a sales performance. We show the locked rate, savings, install plan, and fine print before anyone signs.
One accountable team
The same team that designs your system is accountable for the install. Fewer handoffs, cleaner timelines, and a real person who knows your project.
PPA first, zero down
A no-money-down PPA lets qualified homeowners start saving without buying the panels. Xtact owns and maintains the system.
Monitored after install
Installation is not the finish line. We monitor production and help resolve issues before they become expensive surprises.
Numbers you can read
Every proposal leads with the PPA rate, 25-year savings, transfer terms, and the real comparison against cash or loan.
What homeowners say about Xtact Solar
05 / proof
Designed for the part after install, too.
A solar plan should feel simple and backed before anyone climbs on the roof. Xtact keeps the quote clear, the install accountable, and the service connected to the system.
“First year my bill dropped 38%. What stood out was that the design engineer actually walked my roof before they gave me a number. And the crew I met during the consult was the same crew who showed up on install day. That doesn't happen with every company.”
“I've been saving every single month for three years now. Last spring something went wrong with a panel and they sent someone out without me even having to call. Totally handled on their end.”
“I got four quotes. Three of them gave me a monthly payment number and called it a day. Xtact sent me a 25-year cashflow I could actually follow. That's when I knew these were the people I wanted to work with.”
Equipment partners used when they fit the roof and the plan.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
A Power Purchase Agreement means Xtact installs and owns the panels on your roof. You buy the electricity they produce, usually at a rate that's lower than what your utility is charging right now. Nothing down, and all maintenance is covered for 25 years. We only offer PPAs in states where they're legally available, and we'll tell you upfront if yours isn't one.
Most homeowners we work with start by looking at the PPA because it keeps the upfront cost at zero and puts maintenance on Xtact. Buying can still make sense if you strongly prefer ownership or have a specific tax strategy, but the PPA is the default path we model first.
Looking at our 180-plus installs from last year, the median homeowner cut their electric bill by 34%. Your number depends on your roof, shade, bill size, utility rate, and whether a PPA is available in your state. We show the locked PPA rate and 25-year cashflow before you sign.
About six weeks from the day you sign to the day your system turns on. Design and permitting usually take three to four weeks. The physical installation is one to three days on your roof. After that, your utility has to do their own inspection and sign off, which typically takes another week or two.
If you own the system, it transfers to the buyer at closing the same way any other fixture does. If you have a loan, it either transfers or gets paid off from the sale proceeds. A PPA transfers to the new owner if they qualify. If they don't, we work through a buyout or termination at that point. We go over all of this before you ever sign anything.
We do, for 25 years. Xtact monitors every system we install and we'll catch a problem before you notice your bill going up. If output drops more than 2% by year two, we schedule a service visit at no charge to you. No forms to fill out, no sitting on hold with a call center.
